The Act of Sederunt (Commissary Business) 2013 was made on 11 October 2013 and comes into force on 30 November 2013 (except for paragraph 3(2) and Schedule 2 and paragraph 3(3) and Schedule 3). Paragraph 3(2) and Schedule 2 comes into force on 31 May 2014. Paragraph 3(3) and Schedule 3 come into force on 31 January 2015.

This Act of Sederunt consolidates and restates the Act of Sederunt (Commissary Business) 1975 with modifications in light of imminent sheriff court closures, either moving or discontinuing the commissary business in those courts.
