Roddy Flinn
Secretary to the Scottish Civil Justice Council

Roddy became Secretary to the Scottish Civil Justice Council in September 2013 when he was appointed as Legal Secretary to the Lord President.  As Secretary to the Council, Roddy oversees the work of the Council and provides an important link between the Council and the Court of Session in relation to the preparation of draft rules.

 


Steven D'Arcy
Deputy Secretary to the Scottish Civil Justice Council

Steven became the Deputy Secretary to the Scottish Civil Justice Council in December 2018. As Deputy Secretary, he ensures that the secretariat provides effective support to enable the Council to undertake its statutory functions as set out in the Scottish Civil Justice Council and Criminal Legal Assistance Act 2013.

Business and Policy Manager

Karen was appointed in December 2015 as the Business and Policy Manager.  She supports the effective performance of the Council's secretariat and manages the business of the Council and its committees.

Karen provides policy and secretariat support to the following committees:

  • Rules Rewrite Committee
  • Family Law Committee

Lauren was appointed  in July 2016 as a Policy Officer.  

Lauren provides policy and secretariat support to the following committees:

  • Access to Justice Committee

Andrea was appointed in April 2017 as a Policy Officer.

Kelly was appointed in November 2018 as a Policy Officer.
